Climate change and environmental issues have become increasingly prominent in the development agendas of nations. This paper examines the emergence of green growth strategies in modern economic contexts and discusses whether the challenges of mitigating climate change can ensure economic growth. It investigates the conceptual foundations of green growth and examines the integration of sustainable development initiatives into global frameworks and national policies. This article aims to assess the commitment of eighteen countries and one economic union, and to examine their challenges. Ultimately, this study aspires to shed light on ongoing efforts to harmonize economic progress with environmental preservation.
