Technology, AI, and robo-advisors in wealth management and financial planning: digitalization and automation of financial advisory

This paper examines the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robo-advisors in wealth management and financial planning. It explores how digitalization and automation through AI-driven tools are reshaping portfolio management by providing scalable, personalized, and cost-effective investment advisory services with minimal human intervention. The study discusses the comparison of robo-advisory and traditional human advisory approaches focusing on risk and return performance, investor trust in AI-driven wealth management tools, and algorithm-enabled personalized asset allocation tailored to retirement, estate planning, and currency risk mitigation. The findings indicate that integrated AI-human strategies optimize financial outcomes and improve client satisfaction in the evolving wealth management landscape.
