School management and organizational climate: how strategic leadership impacts educational community performance

This article investigates the relationship between school management practices, organizational climate, and pedagogical outcomes, focusing on the impact of strategic and participative leadership within educational settings. Drawing on a systematic literature review, the study reveals that participative and transformational leadership styles are consistently associated with improved organizational climate, greater teacher engagement, and better academic performance. The findings underscore the importance of open communication, collective decision-making, and the use of satisfaction and performance indicators in fostering positive school environments. By highlighting the multifaceted role of school leadership, this research reinforces the need for ongoing professional development and participatory practices to support institutional excellence and equity in education.
