Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) play a critical role in national economic development, driving employment, innovation, and regional growth. However, underserved SMEs often face barriers to accessing financial services, limiting their potential. This study examines how investments in scalable financial infrastructure, including federal programs such as Simples Nacional and PRONAMPE, can strengthen economic inclusion, foster innovation, and support regional recovery. Using a qualitative methodology that analyzes policy documents, case studies, and international reports, the findings indicate that targeted financial support enhances SME resilience, promotes equitable growth, and stimulates innovation. The results highlight the importance of strategic, inclusive financial policies for leveraging the full economic potential of underserved SMEs.
