Abstract

Neuroplasticity is the process of adaptation of the central nervous system in response to different sensory stimuli. These are functional and structural changes to the Central Nervous System when coming into contact with new experiences. BDNF is a neurotrophic factor that acts as an important regulator of neuronal plasticity, promoting neuronal survival and differentiation. Cannabidiol helps modulate neuroplasticity by acting on BDNF levels. A systematic review is being carried out using these themes to analyze the roles of CBD and BDNF in neuroplasticity.
