Tumor phyllodes maligno da mama: relato de caso e revisão de literatura

Os tumores phyllodes são neoplasias mamárias raras, podendo sofrer transformação maligna em até um terço dos casos. O presente estudo descreve o caso de uma mulher de 50 anos com nódulo palpável na mama esquerda. A core biópsia aventou as hipóteses de sarcoma mamário, carcinoma metaplásico ou tumor phyllodes. Para diferenciação definitiva, foi realizada biópsia a céu aberto, que confirmou a hipótese de tumor phyllodes maligno. A variedade nas apresentações de imagem e a semelhança com outras afecções mamárias podem dificultar e retardar o diagnóstico, o que tem grande impacto oncológico e estético. A investigação radiológica e histopatológica têm, portanto, grande importância na morbimortalidade à medida que podem diagnosticar a malignidade o quanto antes.
