Objetivo: O presente estudo tem o objetivo de aumentar o conhecimento sobre a Síndrome de Gianotti-Crosti (SGC), com o intuito de diminuir o subdiagnóstico e intervenções desnecessárias. Método: Artigos científicos relacionados ao tema foram buscados no PubMed (National Center for Biotechnology Information) e MEDLINE. Os critérios de inclusão foram: artigos em inglês e português que abordassem a SGC nos últimos 5 anos (2018-2022). Como resultado final, 14 artigos foram selecionados. Resultados: A síndrome de Gianotti-Crosti é uma erupção papular simétrica que ocorre predominantemente em crianças. As infecções virais são a principal etiologia. O diagnóstico é clínico e o tratamento é de suporte. Conclusões: Com o devido conhecimento, é possível realizar o manejo adequado sem intervenções desnecessárias e orientar de forma clara a evolução e benignidade da doença aos familiares.
