Resumo

Introduction: The survey  of  the  mollusc  fauna  (malacofauna)  of  a  geopolitical  region is important from several aspects, reaching several important sectors of knowledge. So if all regions could  do  the  same  we  would  have  within,  a  few  years,  expanded  and  completed  the  catalog  of molluscs  in  Brazil,  with  much  still  to  be  added  with  regard  to  terrestrial  and  freshwater  fauna. Objective: First formally known inventory of the non-marine mollusc fauna present in the locality of the "Ponta do Papagaio" e adjacent areas, located in the region of Maciambú Valley or Lowland of Maciambú, Palhoça Municipal District, Greater Florianópolis, Santa Catarina State/ SC, subtropical Central Southern  portion of the  Brazilian territory. Methodology: Organization  of  a  comprehensible occurring  local  species  taxonomic  checklist  and  their  corresponding  reference database, comprising the regional knowledge formally produced around the theme at least since the years 1999-2000. Results and conclusions: Confirmed regional registration of twenty-six (26) taxa/ species of non-marine mollusc species (18 native and 8    alienigenous), verified  through  the  global  platform  "MolluscaBase",  taxonomically  included  in 20 genera  and  17 families,  reported and verified for this territorial singular space. Additional informations of general interest for the region and State are included.
