Resumo

In water-scarce areas, it is necessary to ensure a successful and effective management of water resources. The management of water resources at the household level is vital to preserve water resources and ensure their sustainability in society. Families play an important role in achieving sustainability through their practice of water use and rationalization. In this work, I have submitted a proposal for ways and methods of water management in households in the Touggourt region by addressing the issue in three municipalities, which were Touggourt, Nezla, and Temacine, through a survey conducted in the previously mentioned areas. Finally, in order to preserve water resources, it is necessary to encourage awareness and education, as well as healthy and sustainable management.
