The objective of this study is the optimization by a general factorial design of the electrocoagulation parameters to eliminate a synthetic dye BEMACRON Yellow CA, we studied the effect of the current voltage, the distance between the electrodes, the sodium chloride concentration, the agitation, the electrolysis time and the type of electrode. The results show a very good elimination efficiency was obtained with the iron electrode.
