Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal; Otherwise, it should be justified in "Comments to the editor".
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF format.
  • URLs for referrals were informed when possible.
  • The text is 1.5-spaced; uses a 12-point font; uses italics instead of underlining (except in URL addresses); figures and tables are inserted in the text, not at the end of the document as appendices.
  • The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Guidelines for Authors, on the About Journal page.
  • In case of submission to a peer-reviewed section (eg articles), the instructions available under Ensuring blind peer evaluation were followed.

Author Guidelines

The BJD accepts only original articles, not published in other journals. Articles presented at events are accepted, provided that this information is made available by the authors.

The rules for formatting and preparing originals are:

- A maximum of 20 pages, with a maximum of 8 authors;

- Font Times New Roman, size 12, line spacing of 1.5;

- Figures, Charts and Tables must appear together with the text, editable, in font 10, both for the content and for the title (which must appear just above the graphic element) and font (which must appear just below the graphic element).

- Title in Portuguese, English and Spanish, at the beginning of the file, with font 14;

- Abstract along with keywords, with single spacing, just below the title;

- The file sent must not contain the identification of the authors.

- To download the Template for authors, you must be logged in to the website. Login is required to ensure data security and to provide a personalized experience. This journal adopts as an editorial policy the guidelines for good practices in scientific publication of the National Association for Research and Postgraduate Studies in Administration (ANPAD), available at:  http://www.anpad.org.br/diversos/boas_praticas.pdf.

Publication Fee

- This journal does not charge a submission fee for articles;

- This journal charges a fee for publishing articles, in the amount of:

R$ 490,00 (reais) per article to be published - for Brazilians.

₹ 1.500,00 (indian rupees) per article to be published - for Indians.

$ 150.00 (american dollars) per article to be published - for other nationalities.

  •  The content of the articles is the sole responsibility of the authors.
  •  The total or partial reproduction of the content of the articles is allowed, provided the source is mentioned.
  •  Articles with plagiarism will be refused, and the author of the plagiarism will lose the right to publish in this magazine.
  •  The names and addresses informed in this journal will be used exclusively for the services provided by this publication and are not available for other purposes or to third parties.
  •  Once you submit the articles, the authors give the copyright of their articles to the BJD. If you regret the submission, the author has the right to ask the BJD not to publish his article. However, this request must occur within two months before the release of the number that the article will be published.
