Abstract

A uveíte recorrente equina (ERU) é uma importante causa de cegueira em equinos, podendo afetar um ou ambos os olhos. A infecção com leptospiras patogênicas é considerada a causa mais comum de ERU em todo o mundo. Este relato descreve um caso de leptospirose em uma égua com ERU, baseado nas manifestações clínicas, no diagnóstico laboratorial e na investigação epidemiológica.
