Abstract

The present paper has, as its objective, to demonstrate the process of sugar distribution since the main request until the final consumer. The main challenge of logistics related businesses nowadays is to optimize their process. With technology`s evolution it is possible to enhance these processes using the software of Arena Simulation. In this paper, the subject to be addressed is the logistics chain of a enterprise that produces alcohol and sugar in inner Sao Paulo state with the intention of optimizing your processes, from the request until the final step of the chain. The modeling was made for the construction of settings and conquer os better results. This paper's main goal is to study and explore the benefits of the Arena in relation to the logistics simulation and predictment. Studying the enterprise, there was the colection of the company's XXXX, where the registry for the resquest of products made by each and every client stays until the distribution process for the indentification of errors.
