The present article aims to compare the performance of high school students, subject to the traditional teaching method and the hybrid teaching method. Blending education combines face-to-face classes and the use of intelligent (digital) platform to make content available. The hypothesis is that students can present many cognitive and social-emotional gains with hybrid teaching, gains over that traditionally presented with the "expository-homework-to-homework" method. It is intended to prove the efficacy of an unprecedented method called SAI + (or increased SAI). The "augmented" designative refers to the combination of the flipped classroom with other methods: peer instruction, the use of learning management system (LMS) and the Cornnell sheet. Preliminary results showed three important characteristics. The group submitted to the SAI + method obtained better mean, that is, better performance for the technological bases approached; presented lower standard deviation, that is, presented a more homogeneous performance; and was faster, a decisive factor for many tests.
