Abstract

The Brazilian forestry sector is growing and highlighted strong attractions in forestry investments in 2018 due to the growth of domestic consumption and the economic economy. Associated with this growth as concerns, both internally and globally, with environmental aspects and with which the impacts caused are the object of new studies and research and, in this context, Sustainability has been a determining factor for the choice of materials and technologies. The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology uses a management tool that assesses environmental impacts and has application in other sectors of products such as energy, agriculture and electricity, but still, the lack of data in the forestry sector. This tool assesses the life cycle of a product from a raw material acquisition stage, through the industrialization process, product use and, finally, a final disposal stage. The LCA methodology has 4 phases, the first of which consists of defining the objective and scope of the work; a second in the analysis of the life cycle inventory (ICV); a third life cycle impact assessment (AICV); and a fourth is the interpretation of the life cycle; A quantitative methodology, the results being numerical and reflected as impact categories, allowing comparisons between the results obtained by the Pinus plant. This work aims to develop allocation and analysis of impacts of diesel oil, greases and lubricants in the activities of the planting of Pinus sp. , focusing on forest plants in the species of genus Pinus and Eucalyptus. The results of the work show the greatest impact in the category of environmental impact “land use” and show that the activities of soil and plant preparation are the most impactful in the environment; in this way, we can highlight what research is and the use of alternative products that can be used to reduce the observed environmental impacts.
