Abstract

The growing prevalence of obesity and metabolic disorders has highlighted the importance of effective nutritional strategies focused on sustainable lifestyle changes and body composition improvement. This retrospective observational study analyzed data from approximately 120 adult patients who underwent individualized nutritional intervention for a minimum of three months, with a standard follow-up duration of six months and extended follow-up exceeding one year in several cases. The intervention included tailored dietary planning based on individual goals, nutritional education, targeted supplementation when necessary, and consistent recommendations for physical activity. Body composition parameters, including total body weight, fat mass, and fat-free mass, were assessed over time. Patients demonstrated progressive improvements in body composition, with a reduction in total body weight and fat mass, as well as preservation or increase in fat-free mass. Longer follow-up durations were associated with more pronounced and sustained outcomes. These findings suggest that the integration of dietary personalization, behavioral guidance, and physical activity contributes to favorable metabolic and body composition outcomes. A personalized nutrition and lifestyle intervention appears to be an effective strategy for improving body composition in adults, reinforcing the role of individualized approaches as a sustainable model for long-term health improvement.
