Abordagem diagnóstica do aneurisma de veia cava inferior: uma entidade rara

O aneurisma de veia cava inferior (VCI) é uma alteração vascular extremamente rara, com incidência menor que 100 casos relatados até 2021. Embora possa apresentar complicações graves como trombose, hemorragias e embolia pulmonar, a maioria dos pacientes são assintomáticos e a descoberta é incidental, ocorrendo durante a investigação de patologias não relacionadas. Este trabalho tem como objetivo revisar a abordagem diagnóstica desta patologia, destacando a importância da Tomografia Computadorizada (TC) na definição morfológica e no planejamento terapêutico. Relatamos o caso de uma paciente assintomática com achado incidental de aneurisma de VCI, discutindo os diagnósticos diferenciais e a classificação anatômica vigente.
