Hemorragia alveolar difusa por sevoflurano: a propósito de un caso

La hemorragia alveolar difusa es una condición poco frecuente caracterizada por la extravasación de hematies al espacio alveolar, cuya etiología comunmente está ligada a vasculitis y enfermedades autoinmunes, siendo otras cuasas mucho menor frecuentes; la asociación de esta enfermedad con el sevoflorane es anecdótica, por lo cual no ha sido bien estudiada. el diagnóstico es de exclusión de las demás causas conocidas y que corresponda con una secuencia temporal con la exposición. el manejo es de soporte ventilatorio, anti inflatorio y profilaxis antibiotica. en el presente caso se reporta el cuadro clínico de un hombre de 31 años con hemorragia alveolar difusa asociada con exposición a sevoflorane, manejado de forma similar a la descrita en los esporádicos casos reportados; y curso con una evolución favorable.
