Mecanismos para manejo da dor pós operatória em endodontia

A dor pós-operatória é uma preocupação significativa em tratamentos endodônticos, afetando a qualidade de vida dos pacientes e a percepção dos resultados clínicos. A ocorrência e intensidade dessa dor variam de acordo com fatores como a resposta inflamatória local, o trauma mecânico durante o tratamento e a liberação de mediadores inflamatórios que sensibilizam as terminações nervosas. Estudos científicos têm explorado diferentes estratégias para o manejo dessa dor, incluindo abordagens farmacológicas e não farmacológicas. Este trabalho tem como objetivo geral investigar as evidências científicas existentes sobre os mecanismos e abordagens terapêuticas para a redução da dor pós-operatória em procedimentos endodônticos, a fim de fornecer uma visão abrangente sobre as melhores práticas e identificar lacunas para futuras pesquisas. A metodologia utilizada foi a Revisão Bibliográfica. Concluiu que o manejo da dor pós-operatória em endodontia requer uma abordagem abrangente, considerando tanto tratamentos farmacológicos quanto intervenções não farmacológicas, bem como fatores individuais do paciente. A revisão também destaca a necessidade de diretrizes baseadas em evidências para orientar a prática clínica e a importância de estudos futuros, especialmente sobre o impacto de condições sistêmicas, tratamentos alternativos e fatores genéticos. Esse trabalho contribui para aprimorar o atendimento odontológico, proporcionando um melhor manejo da dor e uma experiência de tratamento mais positiva para os pacientes.
