Inteligência artificial na educação em enfermagem: que realidade?

Abstract

Objetivos: mapear a produção científica na área da inteligência artificial aplicada à educação em enfermagem, no último ano. Sintetizar as principais conclusões e implicações dos estudos para a educação em enfermagem. Materiais e métodos: Pesquisa realizada na b-on em fevereiro de 2024, nas bases de dados Scopus e Medline. A estratégia de pesquisa foi: “nursing education” AND “artificial intelligence” NOT “review of literature”. Resultados: foram analisados 27 artigos, a grande maioria publicados em 2023, sendo que cinco artigos foram publicados em 2024. Foram identificadas quatro categorias relativas à inteligência artificial: oportunidades, desafios, estratégias e sugestões. Conclusões: a inteligência artificial aplicada à enfermagem pode ser uma ferramenta facilitadora da aprendizagem, sendo desejável que integre os currículos de enfermagem. Deve cumprir os procedimentos éticos, a integridade intelectual e afastar cenários de plágio académico e em revistas científicas. Requer o desenvolvimento da capacidade de pensamento crítico nos estudantes. Estratégias como a simulação desencadeada em ambiente protegido, promove a confiança e evolução do desempenho do estudante, com a supervisão do professor. A inteligência artificial não prescinde do pensamento humano, nem da validação de resultados.
