A Interleucina 2 (IL-2) é uma substância com efeitos imunoestimulantes e imunossupressores usada no tratamento do câncer. No entanto, o seu uso pode causar diversos efeitos colaterais, como febre, calafrios, fadiga, náusea, vômito, astenia, edema, dor torácica, prurido e elevação dos níveis de creatinina sérica. Doses mais altas de IL-2 podem resultar na síndrome de vazamento capilar.
