Variações na composição dos músculos do manguito rotador - revisão bibliográfica

A revisão bibliográfica do presente estudo demonstrou que o grupamento muscular do manguito rotador é composto de uma arquitetura complexa e ainda difícil de ser compreendida na sua totalidade. Através da análise de artigos preferencialmente dos últimos cinco anos, concluímos que todos os quatro músculos podem ter variações anatômicas desde a inexistência até a presença de múltiplos ventres. Diferente do que cita a literatura clássica como sendo o manguito rotador composto de músculos de um ventre somente, concluímos que todos os quatro músculos podem ter variações anatômicas desde a inexistência até a presença de múltiplos ventres e fusões musculares. Isso é de suma importância na programação cirúrgica dessa região visando sua integral composição e possíveis variações.
