Autolesão não suicida em crianças e adolescentes com TDAH: revisão narrativa da literatura

Introdução: Este estudo visa esclarecer a associação entre o Transtorno de Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade (TDAH) na infância e adolescência e o comportamento autolesivo – em especial, a autolesão não suicida -, investigando-se a relevância diagnóstica e terapêutica dessa comorbidade no curso do TDAH. Metodologia: Realizou-se revisão narrativa da literatura, na plataforma digital PubMed, com descritores extraídos da plataforma Descritores em Ciências da Saúde, do Portal Regional da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde - BIREME. Resultados: Dentre os oito estudos analisados, seis destacaram associação positiva entre TDAH e autolesão na infância/adolescência. Também apresentaram importante papel fatores como sexo feminino, impulsividade, idade, comorbidades psiquiátricas, disfunção familiar e problemas comportamentais e emocionais na infância. Discussão/Conclusão: Em crianças e adolescentes com TDAH, propõe-se vigilância ativa com relação a autolesão e seus fatores de risco. Há necessidade de atenção especial às meninas, principalmente àquelas com mais sintomas impulsivos/hiperativos ou apresentação combinada.
