Atualizações dos estudos com psilocibina nos transtornos psiquiátricos

A Psilocibina é uma substância facilmente encontrada na natureza presente nos chamados “cogumelos mágicos”, na década de 50 iniciaram pesquisas científicas em diversas áreas, que foram suspensas devido a proibição da droga na década de 70. Atualmente houve um renascimento dessas pesquisas na psiquiatria e essa revisão busca compilar e sintetizar os dados atuais do uso da psilocibina nos transtornos psiquiátricos relacionados ao câncer, depressão, adicção, transtorno obsessivo compulsivo e anorexia, além de revisar a segurança e tolerabilidade da droga e seu uso em microdoses.
