Uso de letrozol no tratamento da gestação ectópica: relato de caso

Nas últimas décadas a apresentação clínica da gestação ectópica tem evoluído de uma situação de risco iminente de vida, com abordagem terapêutica unicamente cirúrgica, para um panorama com intervenções menos invasivas e com melhor prognóstico. Neste cenário, o Letrozol tem ganhado destaque, esse medicamento é um inibidor da aromatase de terceira geração e tem sido utilizado de forma efetiva no tratamento de gestação ectópica. Diante disso, o presente estudo, autorizado pelo Comitê de Ética (CAAE: 63622422.5.0000.5076), descreve, a partir da análise do prontuário e anexos (exames laboratoriais e de imagem), o caso de uma paciente de 32 anos (G1P0A0) diagnosticada com gestação ectópica tubária em idade gestacional de 7 semanas e 4 dias, e tratada com Letrozol (5 mg/dia por 10 dias). Notou-se efetiva redução dosagem sérica do β-hCG após a intervenção farmacológica, confirmando, com auxílio de Ultrassom Transvaginal e Histerossalpingografia, a interrupção da gestação ectópica com preservação da tuba uterina. Ressalta-se que não houve reações adversas ao uso do fármaco.
