A Síndrome Cardiorrenal (SCR) é uma complicação clínica, que desencadeia grandes inquietações devido à complexidade da sua fisiopatologia, que está associada a falência cardíaca. Observa-se que inúmeros estudos se fundamentam nos conceitos e subsidiam a terapêutica e intervenções como meio de controle do estado de saúde dos pacientes. O impacto da SCR nos custos hospitalares e desfechos clínicos refletem diretamente na qualidade de vida dos pacientes. A revisão da literatura relacionada à SCR subsidia entendermos como a complexidade da doença pode permitir reflexões sobre o processo de melhorias e futuras pesquisas relacionadas ao tema.
